Wizkid’s one-off show “Made In Lagos” Tour, London, in November sold out just 12 minutes after going live, leaving fans begging for more dates to be added.
The Nigerian singer-songwriter, 31, had announced the show at the end of July, playing one date at London’s O2 Arena on November 28.
Tickets went on general sale on Friday, August 6, but Wizkid’s fans snapped all of the available tickets within 12 minutes of them going live.
Wizkid released Made In Lagos last October, and fans were eager to get their hands on tickets to see him perform live.
Following the 20,000-capacity venue selling out, Wizkid tweeted: ‘SOLD OUT THE 02 ARENA in 12 MINUTES. LONDON! I LOVE YOU.’
Fans immediately took to Twitter to beg for more dates, tweeting: ‘I’m crying. I’m trying to get Wizkid tickets. How can 25k people be in the queue when O2 capacity is 20k. Sir, @wizkidayo we need another date.’

Wizkid’s date at London’s O2 comes after he will perform a string of shows in the US throughout September and October.
He started his music career at just 11 years of age and Wizkid has become one of Nigeria’s biggest artists.
His collaboration with Drake on One Dance became an international number one hit, and the pair have also worked together on Wizkid’s Come Closer.
