Tanzanian singer Rayvanny released a song titled “CORONA” to create awareness of the pandemic COVID-19 few hours after a reported case in Tanzania on Monday.
In the song, Rayvanny educates Tanzanians on how to protect themselves from pandemic Coronavirus and prays to God to take away Coronavirus, as many people around the world are poor and they can’t even fight the deadly virus.
The song also samples President John Magufuli’s voice in the song where he talking about the important precautions put in place to help fight the Coronavirus.
President’s sampled voice said “Tanzania hatuwezi tukajiweka Pemebeni bila kuchukua hatua. Hatua zimeshaanza kuchukuliwa na waziri wa Afaya ameshatoa Tahadhari mbali mbali amabzo tunapaswa kuchukua. Napenda nirudie Ndugu zangu watanzania kwamba ni vizuri sana tukaendelea kuchukuwa tahadhari kwa nguvu zote. Ugonjwa huu unauwa na unaua haraka sana. Niwaombe Ndugu zangu watanzania tusipuzee ujongwa huu hata kidogo. Ni lazima tuanze kuchukua hatua za kujikinga na ujonjwa huu“.
