Multi-awarding winning director Leila Djansi has strongly opposed to the anti-LGBTQI bill passed in Ghana which seem to be against human rights as others would say.
The Director in a post stated that, the act of homosexuality isn’t new to the grounds of Africa, and for that fact Ghana. She further shared that the act was in existence before the introduction of Christianity.
She pointed out a few hypocritical and ignorant behaviours of the new African society, some of which talked about the early African culture where men and women just wore strips of clothes around their bodies, women being naked with oily breast and men with bare chest.
She also added how christianity has wiped out the rich culture of Africa and has rather brought a lot of homophobic acts.
