Keri Hilson Shares How She Met Stonebwoy, Made A Hit Song And Got Her Ghanaian Name

Ghanaian Afro Reggae/Dancehall artist Stonebwoy made a smash hit “nominate” with American Singer Keri Hilson from his laest project “Anloga Junction”.

A lot of people weren’t just marveled by the great song but also the chemistry behind that great song. Artistes just don’t makes a hit song, it takes both artistes a lot of bonding and chemistry to put up a hit song.

Keri Hilson on instagram shared an amazing behind the scenes footages and tells how she met Stonebwoy, made this hit song and got a Ghanaian name.

She wrote, “Everything ain’t planned…I met a guy on a flight who knew @stonebwoyb & he put him on the phone when we landed. Stone was coming to Atl that next week and I was in w/ @drebombay. I told him to pull up, and this happened. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow, meet new people, try new things, and oh, HAVE FUN WIT IT!!! But one thing remains: musical chemistry still can’t be faked. And a hit song isn’t always the aim, but…BHIM!!! 🚀 #Nominate“.

Later in the video, Stonebwoy gave miss Keri a Ghanaian name “Esi” based on the day of the week she was born. “Esi” is a Ghanaian name given to every Ashanti or Fante female born on Sunday.

So now I guess it’s fair to say her new name is Keri Esi Lynn Hilson.
