Ghanaian-Uk Rapper Headie One Sentenced To Six Months In Prison

Ghanaian-British rapper Irving Adjei popularly known as Headie One has been sentenced to six months in prison for possession of a bladed article.

On January 3rd, 2020, The U.K. rapper was sentenced to prison terms at Wood Green Crown Court in London. The charge follows Headie One’s arrest in June 2019 after police discovered a lock knife when his car was stopped and searched.

The Sun newspaper reported that he was bailed at the time of his arrest in 2019 in order to perform at the Glastonbury and Wireless festivals. Appearing at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on June 27 he entered a not guilty plea to the bladed article offence.
