Berlin film festival starts in February 2020 and will pay tribute to the Nigerian movie industry.
One of Nigeria’s movies “Eyimofe” will be premiered during the event in solidarity to the tribute. The movie “Eyimofe” has done so well in other award schemes. It won an award at the “Purple List Award” and also gained recognition as one of ten projects chosen for last year’s IFP Narrative Lab in New York.

The Movie addresses endless pursuit of migrants for greener pastures in Europe and the realities of their journey. It tells the story of the quest of two people and what they believe will be a better life in Europe.

The movie was written by Chuko Esiri and produced by Melissa Adeyemo and stars Jude Akuwudike, Tomiwa Edun, Temi Ami-Williams, Cynthia Ebijie, and Jacob Alexander.
