Nigerian songwriter and singer 2baba Idibia has been appointed as a UNHCR ambassador.
The news was made public when his manager Efe Omorogbe took to his Instagram page and congratulated the singer and prayed the Lord grant him the ability to do more.
He said “congrats @official2baba. Well deserved recognition for your unwavering commitment and tireless work towards the welfare of forcefully displaced persons across Africa and the globe. May God grant you the grace and ability to do more. Bless up bro.”
Similarly, the singer reacted to his ambassadorial deal. He thanked people who have donated and supported the cause over the years.
He wrote;
Upon sharing the news, his fans also joined him to celebrate his appointment by posting congratulatory messages to him.
