The Nigerian-French Canadian Singer-Songwriter born in Montreal, Canada boasts of a sonic palette that is just as diversified as her multicultural background.
Her half-a-decade musical journey is marked by her debut project — One with Self, a 5-track self-recorded acoustic EP that was released on Soundcloud in 2015.
TÖME has toured with Mr Eazi, shared the stage with African international music heavyweights; Wizkid and Burna Boy yet, she’s only just getting started.
Whilst working a full time job as a Marketing Executive, TÖME continued to hone her skills and nurture her audience with the release of her first official tape; Tomesroom: Chapter 1 and an array of singles in the years that followed.
In 2019, the singer quit her 9-5 and has since been on a full-time musical run — one that has seen her perform across North America, Europe and Africa.
To lead the rollout of her upcoming album; Bigger than 4 Walls, TÖME releases Free. As suggested by the title, the song finds her ringing out a desire to embark on the daring adventure of pursuing after her every dream, living out beyond the dictations of society and away from any energy that fails to elevate her.
Her scintillating vocals and the uplifting lyrics make a soothing match over the hard-hitting electronic dance instrumental making Free a total addiction. The upcoming Bigger than 4 Walls album will be available on Friday, May 22.
