The Boy Band Sauti Sol has cancelled their YouTube concert that was set to go down tomorrow 28th March, 2020 amid the increasing cases of Coronavirus in East Africa
The concert was supposed to be a compensation after the cancellation of their UK tour.
The band revealed that the move was to keep their team safe as well as their friends and families.
“Following the cancellation of our UK tour date at Jazz café on the 28th we were optimistic that we could stream to a live Concert on Youtube to make up for the disappointment. Unfortunately, with the rising cases of Covid- 19, we must cancel the YouTube concert scheduled for this Saturday 28th March” shared Sauti Sol.
The Universal Music Group’s recording artistes, added that they would drop the second single off their album next Friday on 3rd April to make the quarantine period entertaining and pleasant.
“We have to prioritize the urgent need for our band, friends, families and teams safety. But hey, we still love you and we wanna make your lockdown and isolation worthwhile by dropping the second single off our upcoming album #midnight Train next Friday. April 3rd. Their hit song “Suzanna” was the first single off their Album dubbed Midnight Train. It has received massive love and recognition from fans garnering over 5 million views on YouTube.
